EDSS(Engineer Dispatching and Scheduling
System)
EDSS is the system that designed for ESSO department, now it is important
management system for the human resource system of ESSO(Enterprise Support
Service Organization).
The functions in EDSS include the following parts:
•records the schedule of the Engineers
• cooperates with Call Center to distribute call, and reports the
result of distribution of call to Call Center
• support the traffic information from the place where engineer
is to the target place where client reports
• statistic of CSO (Call Service Operation)
• Management of Project
• Management of Information of engineers (name, special, technique
level, etc)
The core part of this system is record of schedule of the engineers. Schedule
of engineers is necessary to the Human resource and distribution of Engineer,
and it can be used to determine the effectiveness of engineer and department.
EDSS is very successful system. The first version is only used for the
hardware repair engineer and call center, but now it is used for all members
in ESSO and it is using in Hong Kong & Taiwan now. From EDSS appearing,
the system needs to upgrade once per 3 months and adding more new functions.

E-Delivery
E-Delivery Project is composed of following 3 sub systems:
1) Technique Support Forum for HP, China
This sub system is the Chinese version of ITRC forum; it is used for China
mainland, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. It is the platforms for customers which
can be used for discussion of the problems happen during the HP product
maintenances, seeking the help from HP engineers
and helping customers enter the global ITRC
2) Product knowledge database in Chinese for HP
This sub system is ITRC Knowledge Database in Chinese. In this version,
it is only used for China mainland (using Simple Chinese). This system
stores the important translation document in Chinese from ITRC Knowledge
Database, and support different queries function for the customers.
3) Customer CD
This CD is distributed to customers. And it includes the software Support
Link and some other software.
Support Link is the tool through that the system can interact with customers
(send the message to customers, etc)

Hardware Service Center (HSC) FAQ System
Hardware Service Center (HSC) FAQ System is designed for HP (China) Customer
Service Department. The sytem is the forum website for the communication
flatfrom among the Hardware Service Center.
