Music has always been my primary source of rejuvination. I can sing and play
the piano/keyboards and also the harmonica.
Singing
I have received vocal training in Indian Classical Music for over 20 years,
under the guidance of
Mr. Arun Bhattacharya and Mrs.Sumita Bhattacharya. There are various
styles of singing in Indian Classical Music. Each style, called a
gharana , is characterized by techniques and nuances that distinguish
it from other styles. My vocal training has been in the Patiala gharana,
and I try to bring out its unique flavor in my singing.
Playing the Piano
I have learned to play the piano and the keyboards from
Mr. Durga Das Chakrabarty. On the piano, I play Western Classical Music, as
well as popular tunes in English, Hindi and Bengali.

I perform regularly in the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area of USA. In
this section, I have decided to put up a few clips of my recent
