• 11/20/95: Project 3 was graded and sent back to you.

• 10/31/95: Your midterm report card was e-mailed to you. There is a small mistake in the report card. It said that Quiz 1 was out of 26 points. It is really out of 27 points. The calculations were based on Quiz 1 having 27 points.

• 10/20/95: Project 2 was graded and mailed back to you.

  If you did not send a program, or sent a program that did not produce the output that you sent, you received a very low grade. If you made an honest mistake, you should see Prof.\ Chang during office hours. Do not touch the program in your account. This way we can verify when the program was written.

• 10/10/95: Quiz 1 was returned during lecture instead of recitation.

• 10/05/95: If you turned in Project 1 on time, it has been graded and returned to you by e-mail.

• On THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 1995 the Career Development and Placement Center is sponsoring its annual CAREER FAIR from 12:00 noon to 3:30 p.m. in the UC Ballroom. Over 50 employers will be available to meet with students (All Majors) to discuss career opportunities. Students should bring copies of their resume, and dress in professional attire. There will also be a chance to win a $100.00 clothing gift certificate from Hechts.

• 9/14/95:
  Student Support Services is looking for a student to provide a copy of his/her notes for CMSC201. The student must have good note taking skills and a GPA of at least 2.5. The student will be paid $4.50 per hour. Contact Student Support Services at MP 211 or 455-2459.

• The Computer Science Council of Majors is having its first meeting this semester on Monday, September 18 in ECS 210-I. The council will discuss game nights, special project groups, and programming competitions. Look for flyers in the terminal rooms.

• The Infomation Systems Council of Majors also has information on-line.

• The Computer Science Help Center is now open. The current hours are: Monday thru Thursday, 12noon to 5pm, 7pm to 9pm and Friday 12noon to 4pm.

• Section 0103 is being created. The discussion section will meet on Mondays 10:00am to 10:50am in Fine Arts 015.
