- UMBC lost to Johns Hopkins in an intercollegiate match
in late October (not Pan-Am team).
- UMBC tied for fifth place out of 31 teams
with 4 points out of 6 at the 1994 Pan-Am in
Providence, RI. Faculty Advisor Alan Sherman
was the top faculty player, finishing second with
4.5 points in the Pan-Am Open.
