Musical Selection: Bagatelle No.25 in A minor — Ludwig van Beethoven

Respond to the following prompts with appropriate answers. Submit a PDF of your responses on Blackboard. Each question is weighted equally. Where examples are asked for, you must come up with your own example — you may not use the ones given in the text or slides.

  1. Describe the difference between an INNER JOIN and an OUTER JOIN in SQL. Include a discussion of all three types of OUTER JOINs.
  2. Describe what a SQL view is. Include an example where using a view might be useful.
  3. Describe what a SQL injection attack is and give the two ways described in-class that one can prevent such an attack.
  4. Desribe what a trigger is in SQL and give an example of where one might be used.
  5. Give SQL CREATE TABLE statements to create all of the tables necessary to implement the following E-R Diagram. Be sure to include all keys (primary and foreign).
